I loved the painting of a painting, but I really like this one--I just want to pick these stones up and play with them, turning them over and over in my hands. I can even imagine what they'd sound like, bumping against each other. Very tactile!!!
Thanks, Mel! I love it that it's possible to get this effect with "mere" pencils; it's nice to get away from the messy paints and turpentine once in a while! Glad you like the other one too. It's fun doing something a bit different!
