A friend alerted me to the fact that paintings of crows are very popular on Ebay; so of course, I was motivated to get on the bandwagon! So far, it's going so well, that I think I'll be painting crows for a while! Fun!

With Christmas so close, I'm still thinking in "red and green"!

I must be in the Christmas mood, painting such a red/green painting! This is what they call a Chinese pear in the grocery store. I love it's luscious colours! It tasted pretty good too!

This has been done in oil pastel on sanded pastel paper. Still loving my oil pastels, especially the Senneliers!

This one doesn't really qualify as a new painting; I completed it about a month ago; but today I decided to change the colour of the background, and now I like it better...

Just a little ACEO for today..........

More oranges today! This is an ACEO, so it measures a mere 2.5" by 3.5". My blue enamel pie plate is coming in very handy for my still life paintings!

I'm still finding it a challenge to work with acrylics but I'm determined to keep at it! This is a quick study I did today; the masonite panel is a little rough around the edges, since I cut it with a razor knife...........I'd love to know where I can get ready-cut masonite in the 6" by 8" size range.
